My Journey To Wellness

For 22 years, I battled migraines, struggled with chronic illnesses, depression and hopped from one fad diet to another, seeking relief and a sense of vitality. I’d go see doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists.. I would try anything to feel better! My turning point came when I embarked on a six-week experiment with a Whole Food Plant-Based (WFPB) diet. Immersing myself in books, documentaries, and the profound insights of WFPB authors and researchers, I experienced a radical paradigm shift. Not only did my debilitating migraines disappear, but I also reversed pre-diabetes, lowered my cholesterol levels, and shed 50 lbs! My mental health improved tremendously and my doctor was able to discontinue my medications. 

It was during these transformative 18 months of living the WFPB lifestyle that I realized the adage "Let food be thy medicine" was more than just a phrase—it was a reality.

Merging Passion with Expertise

Fuelled by the revelations of my personal journey, I acquired a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from the esteemed Colin T. Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at eCornell University. This experience re-ignited my passion for guiding others on their wellness journey and the desire to make a broader impact.

While my career as an RN provided invaluable insights, it also highlighted the shortcomings of a medical system that often prioritizes temporary fixes over lasting health solutions. Through my coaching, I aim to bridge that gap—offering a holistic approach that emphasizes the power of nutrition.
